Ordered Manoli lassi, chicken curry, keema naan and Poori. Prices are reasonable. Poori tasted really good. Keema naan was half stuffed. Chicken curry tasted okay… papadum was burnt and the chutneys didn’t tasted great. Mango lassi was not that great too.. the buttermilk that was used for making lassi didn’t seemed the fresh one. Parking was plenty. There are couple of reserved spots too.. there was Indian music going on and atmosphere was decent.
We had a delicious lunch at Kabob & Curry. We especially liked the thali lunch special - it was a deal! You get to choose an appetizer, 3 entrees (from a limited selection), a dessert, and a hot chai or mango lassi. It also comes with rice and 1/2 naan. This whole meal filled us up and was about $15, all included.
Best Indian I've had I a long time! The Baingan Bartha was amazing. We also enjoyed the Muttar mushroom, garlic naan, and papadams. We came on a slow weeknight and got good service. The dining room is comfortable and clean with pleasant music. Will certainly be back.
Update: we stopped in again. Highly recommend the Paneer Kebab and Aloo saag as well. Still the best naan too
This place is crazy yummy! The service is kind and this place is cozy but not cramped. Its kinda a chill perfection.
Once again, the food is so yummy! Also solid portions.
The women working there were very cold and rude. We spent a good amount of money there on a take out order and wanted to sit down for a few minutes to have a few bites before we hit the road. They seemed panicked and mentioned something about charging to eat there, which they certainly don't. I assume she was confused and was referring to the Ohio dine-in tax. Not sure why they were panicking about a $1.50 going to Ohio. If you have paying customers and they want to have a quick bite in your mostly empty restaurant, just relax. Don't chase them away and treat them like garbage. I won't be going back unless I'm confident this is resolved.
The food was not great. It was made with dry chicken breast. I didn't even finish it. Usually the food is pretty good.
Our 1st experience with Indian food. Some of it we liked a lot some of it wasn't our cup up tea, but all was prepared very well. The shrimp pakora was my favorite with a tamarind dipping sauce.
I am a long time customer here. I've tried other Indian cuisines around Ohio, but nothing ever beats kabob and curry! Their chicken korma is my main go to, the chicken is ALWAYS cooked to perfection. It's never dry. Their biryani is also the best around! I couldn't recommend this place enough.
We are fairly new to traditional Indian cuisine, so we got the vegetarian platter to start, pictured on the right. The mango curry, mint/cilantro chutney was wonderful!. Our main dishes were also great choices! However, I don’t recall what it was actually called. One was a chicken kabob. The second with sauce had chicken and various vegetables over basmati rice. We did medium spice level and that was perfect. Their portions are very generous which makes the price (we didn’t order any alcohol) reasonable since we had plenty to take home. *almost forgot, we had the jalepeno cheese nann! Can’t wait to go back and explore more of the many other options we’re curious about! It will be difficult to try something new because I know I’ll want to order what we had this evening again! Also, their servers were informative and polite and they brought everything out in a timely manner!
